The routines we all have daily can be productive.
However are the routines creating pressure in your day to day life?
There is so much in the media now about morning routines.
Up at 0500hrs. Meditate. Read. Walk or exercise. Eat. Coffee only after 90 mins from waking, etc etc etc, the list can be endless.
The bed time routines: No phones or blue light an hour before bed. No phones in the bed room. Magnesium before bed, etc etc, the list can be endless.
Are these routines really adding value. Are you experiencing and feeling or actually seeing positive benefits from them?
Or
Are they creating morning or evening pressure.
If you are one of the few that does follow routines to improve your life or improve who you are as a human, take the time and reflect for 10 minutes on what they are actually bringing to you.
The routine may look impressive. It may sound impressive when you tell the office around the water fountain everything you did before getting to your desk. Ask yourself is the routine adding value, or is it creating a cycle of overthinking or added pressure. Is the routine actually a burden.
Break down where the joy is in the routine and enjoy it. Do what works for you. Find what works for you.
No one cares about your routine. So it must work for you.
